The “KAISERHÖFE—Unter den Linden” redevelopment concept naturally provided for the removal of minor war damages and the traces of use during the GDR era. But more than that, it also recovered historical details long concealed and forgotten, further developing their designs where new elements were needed. In perfect harmony with their historical counter-parts, these enhancements facilitate the building ensemble’s present-day utilization.
The result is a unique and highly distinctive ambience — the early twentieth-century imperial flair lives on.
